I drove home today!
It really wasn’t that hard. I think the fastest I drove was 62mph, because on Highway 64 it doesn’t seem all that fast. So, I drove more than usual, but I was only out for less than an hour this time–the past two times I drove around the parking lot for a few hours.
So, I’m still learning how to drive, but it doesn’t seem all too hard. My mom just needs to stop saying things loudly when she thinks I’m doing something wrong, because it makes me jump, obviously. She also didn’t much like the fact that I was listening to music most of the time, though she made me turn it off when we got to the highway. No fun; the music calmed me down a lot.
I’ve already fed the dog and everything outside, so I’m done out there for tonight unless I go wondering out there in the middle of the night again. It’s nice to do when the moon is out like it has been this week, because I can actually see most of the things in the yard.
Hoping to get a call from the bank earily next week to see if I get the job. That’d be rather nice. I’d actually have money of my own to go spend, and I’ll try and get my license as soon as I can, so I don’t get stuck till waiting after winter, just in case this winter is bad again, though I greatly doubt it. I love snow and blizzards and such, but those just don’t happen around here anymore.
Joey’s got an interview on Monday morning. Yay. I hope he gets this job, since he’s been after it so long now. It’s been a number of months, so, here’s to hoping.
Still working on his birthday present. I can’t believe his birthday is a week away already. Christ, now he’ll actually be the same age as me. Lol.
Well, need to go do something, like watch TV for a little bit, then take a shower and relax. I’m enjoying these free days I have now more than I used to, since I’m looking for a job. I know I won’t always have them.
