Welp, the one person that’s gotten me many a blog response and readers is leaving MySpace soon. It is sad and a lot of people are going to miss him not just for his contest, but for his outstanding writing abilities. MySpace is losing an all-’round great user.

And, with his leaving, there are the contests left that he is no longer going to be able to do. He is looking for someone to leave them to, in good hands of course. Currently, I’m trying to think of how well I would actually do on the Blog of the Week (BotW) front myself.

I have yet to ever win a contest and I would still want to blog my own personal opinions on things like I have been, though I wonder if that in itself would deter people from viewing and posting like they do on Je’s blog. Perhaps it is time for it to become a group and not just hidden away in someone’s blog?

That, I do not know. What I do know is that I plan on buying a domain name again in a few moments and then using my host once again. I have not done this in some time and I wonder if any of my data is still there. Nevertheless, I will just work on what I have been doing offline in my spare time and do my little personal website for my poetry and writings, just because I can.

Though I would enjoy being able to show off other people’s work, I doubt I know enough about the people as a whole that use the BotW and Poegasm to do either. But, I’d still like to and will still do my own site, no matter what.

Oh well, I know enough about MySpace that I guess I could do something like that, but it’s more dependent upon the people than me. If no one wanted to have me run it, then I wouldn’t because that wouldn’t be right.. At least to them. I’m too big on democracy and voting for things and such, so I can’t just up and say, “Hey, I’d like to do this and I know I could!” because I’m not that cocky.

Well, that’s really all I can say. I’d like to do it, sure, but I doubt I’ve been around long enough for the people to accept me as a new “leader” of something like that. Sure, I’d love responses of “That’s not true!” and stuff, but that’s not what I’m expecting. Just know that I’d be here if the need arises for a Blog Captain, and I’ll be blogging away in the meantime.
