I have no idea.

He’s gone tonight. His mother, whom was my former boss–read my first post–was demoted a couple of days ago.

That is complete and utter bullshit. Do you want to know why that is BS? She passed her evaluation. She did fine. She was better. They demoted her anyway. They are going to tell her tomorrow if they’re cutting her pay.

It’s so stupid. She did nothing wrong. If anything, the two that started this whole thing at work should be fired, as most people already know. But the administrator will have none of it.

You have to understand, my former boss was there, managing since the place opened. Before that, she was the manager over at another nursing home. She has the experience and she does her job better than any of the people that work(ed) below her. She deserves that job more than anyone.

What’s worse is that they’ll cut her pay. Oh, I can bet good money on that one. And when I say “cut pay” I don’t mean by a little bit. They’re planning on cutting her hourly pay back by 30-50%. That’s nothing to laugh about. That’s almost criminal.

If I knew why they were doing this, it would be criminal. We’re pretty sure on that one. They gave her an opportunity, but then took it away. If only it had been in writing rather than a oral contract…

When I left, I was planning on sitting down with the administrator and talking to her about exactly why I was leaving and exactly what she was doing wrong. (Did I mention that the administrator starting working there only three months ago?) I wanted to chew her out, I wanted to yell, I wanted to cry. Those other women I worked with made my life a living hell because I had to be around them. They hated me for no reason besides they could. They turned everyone against me and I was so tired of it. (I’ve only been back once.)

Well, were I failed to do so, my wonderful fiancee did not. He met that woman yesterday and chewed her ass out. In front of his mother without her knowing that it would happen. The administrator’s reaction? “Is this how you raise your children to act?!” What the hell? He was talking on his own free will–he is a month shy of twenty-one you know. And the fact that she tried to act as though it was his mother’s fault, just because she couldn’t do anything to him.. Gah, that’s too much.

I don’t have much else to say without getting super cranky. The whole subject bothers me, because I still know what goes on there and others don’t. Those poor people..
