Niiice.
So, I’ve been a good girl. I was nice.. I think. In any case, I ended up getting two free months of hosting. I wonder what everyone else will be getting? (Hopefully not a damn thing for all the complainers that nothing bad happened to.)
Selling things on eBay again. Well, one game left out of three. We didn’t have that much money this week. Basically, we ended up with enough to get what we needed, like gas, and that was about it. Soon, the animals will be needing more food again and I’ll be selling even more.
It snowed last night. Most of it is melting away now, but I’ve noticed that there may be ice next week. We’ll just have to wait and see.
We went out after a couple of hours of hard snow last night and it was horrible. The road was nothing but snow and ice and I could only drive 30MPH the entire time. It also didn’t help that on our way back home the snow was blowing into my headlights and covering them, making it almost completely dark.
That reminds me of what happened last week. We were heading home and there was a lot of flooding. The thing is, I’ve driven all over the area when it floods and I know the spots that it comes up over the road. It was dark and I noticed a large black spot on my side of the road and I moved over to avoid it. I knew that it flooded there because there was a small creek below, but all of the sudden the entire road was nothing but muddy water.
Now, my car is rather low to the ground and it was dark out. To add to the problem, my car won’t move if it goes under a certain speed, so I knew I had to keep going at about 30MPH because of the water itself. The road wasn’t straight either, it curves and bends like and ‘S’ in this section, and I couldn’t see a thing since the water was up over my lights. So, I ended up driving completely blind through running water.
I stayed on the road without any problem however and my car was cleaner after the fact. As strange as it sounds, it didn’t bother me to do something like that. The situation just sort of happened and I didn’t much have a problem. I think it’s mostly because I trust my car and know what to do with it. If it had been any other vehicle in those situations, I don’t think I would have been able to do it.
Well, I have no idea why I really typed all that out. Maybe I’m feeling bad about never making a large post anymore. Who knows.
