You Can’t See Him.

Because he is hiding.

This is a picture of my mom’s cat, Kit’n. He’s special. He just got done taking all of his antibiotics because he was bit in the foot by another male cat (outside) and it got infected. It was rather distrubing, because his foot swelled up and turned blue.! Oh well, he’s better now and hates me as usual, so I can go back to hating him too.

Onto other news about pets…

We talked about what to do with Ami’s heartworm problem and they’ve decided to give her shots in order to kill them quickly. So, as soon as we have the money to pay for them: It’s $230 just for the shots, not for her pain medication after the fact, as well as her spay–which is being held off until she’s all better. Until then, she’s on Heartgard Plus and taking it easy.

When she does get the shots, she’ll have to be inside for around six weeks and no walks, runs, or anything fun for a puppy. She’ll be in a lot of pain too, so she’ll be on medication the entire time to keep her feeling sort of decent. But, how do you keep a puppy from running around? She’ll be so bored and unhappy I can’t imagine what will happen. Poor thing.

I wish we had the money to get her shots, but we don’t. We can’t just magically find that much money.. If you would like to make a donation, my PayPal account is “32 degress F @ G mail . com”. (Without the spaces of course!) Any amount would help, as she does need the shot sooner rather than later.

cute kitty and I hope your poochy gets better soon too. Pets are very expensive!

Awww, poor puppy! It must be very hard to see her sick and not be able to do anything about it. :)

What a beautiful cat. I hope it works out for you.

Cute kitty. How sad though. Have you thought about using a generic Heartgard?

I know the generics aren’t cheap either. But every little savings helps.
