Sure, my car is still in the shop waiting for the fuel pump to come in, but at least we have J.’s El Camino up and running.

It’s a black 1985 El Camino Conquistador, Conquista for short. It was originally gold, but the last owner had it painted black and installed a sunroof.

People have been stopping by the house every couple of days asking if it is for sale. Every time he goes out, either people talk about how nice it is or they offer to buy it from him.

I find it rather annoying when I get woken up by some random guy asking how much we want for it, when it isn’t for sale in the first place. Plus, it’s not like those people ever offer a price, they want to know how much we’d want for it.

Seriously, if your car is a piece of shit and you’re dressed like you’re from ‘89, please don’t stop and ask about the truck.
