The salesman gave us a two-year warranty for free, and the camera was only $77.oo–instead of the marked $99.oo. The memory card was even better on price though, because it is 4GB for only $20.oo.

Whereas my camera, an old Cybershot, is a 5.1 mega pixel, J.’s new shiny camera is an 8.1.

New Baby Stroller!

We bought it over the weekend and put it together. (Okay, well, J. put it together.!)

Anywho, it’s rather cute and Peachy loves sneaking into the stroller and/or carseat whenever he gets the chance.

Yeah, he’s winking a little weird in that photo, but it’s the best one for the shot of both him and the stroller.

Today is, in my opinion, the holiday specifically designed for families to get one last get together in before the end of summer and school starts for the kids. Unfortunately, in this area, children go back to school near the beginning of August, so this doesn’t happen so much.

In any case, I hope everyone gets the day off and enjoys themselves!

Kill Kill the dragon. Warning: Killing too many dragons may result in your scroll being burned.

This is what we will be focusing on, as soon as I quickly explain the other sections.

Name Give the dragon a name. Can only be done once.

Give your dragon a good name and remember to check your scroll at least once a week. This should ensure that your names are not dropped and released for others to use.

Describe Give the dragon a description.

This is a nice new feature, though the waiting list for when they will be rejected or accepted is rather long, since it is done by people.

Breed Breed your dragon with another dragon, producing an egg.

Only appears with female dragons. Also, you can only breed each dragon once a week, whether it is a successful breeding or not.

Alright now, since you should understand the functions of the action section for each adult dragon somewhat better, I will discuss the wonders of killing an adult dragon.

For some, you may just want to clean up your scroll a bit. For me, since I freeze hatchlings, I try to get them to the point right before they become adults and freeze them in order to know if it is the proper gender or not. Sometimes, this can backfire and I end up with an extra adult dragon that I don’t need.

This is when I see fit to kill an adult dragon. In all honesty, not everyone thinks this way, but since I try to keep my scroll organized and clean, this does happen from time to time.

If you attempt to kill your dragon, you may find that harder than it looks. You can actually fail to kill it, at which time you will get this response:

You pull out your blade and try to stab the dragon, but it avoids your attack.

As surprising as it seems, adult dragons don’t seem to enjoy being stabbed at. I have known people to be unable to kill their dragons for days–take my second female two-headed dragon for example.

Update: After a solid week plus, I managed to kill her successfully.

You take your blade and stab the dragon, watching the life slowly leave its eyes as it stares at you, wondering why you betrayed it.

Please keep in mind that you should not kill a mass number of eggs, hatchlings, or adults unless you wish to be banned AKA having your scroll burned. If at all possible, abandon your dragons (eggs and hatchlings) to save them from that fate.. Because there are others out there more than willing to take your misfits.

Except: There are only two good reasons I can think of him picking her.

• He wants to hit it.
• He thinks that, since Hillary Clinton is out, that female voters will vote in favor of him because his vice-president will be a woman.

Honestly, that’s the only reasons that I can think of. Believe me, I could go on and on and on about the whole damn thing, because I find it a tad bit insulting because I’m leaning more torwards the latter reason I have provided above.

I mean, seriously, why would someone like McCain go out of his way to choose someone with a lot less experience in the matters of greatest importance? It’s bad enough that McCain is basically wanting to continue on the Bush rein, let alone if his running mate has no idea what she’s getting into and won’t be much, if any, help in the long run.

Anyway, I just wanted to point out something that appeared very strange to me:

Did you catch that? The Obama Biden part. What does that maybe-kinda-sorta look like at a quick glance?
Osama Bin Laden.?

No no no no no! I am not saying this is some creepy conspiracy or anything like that, I just thought it was odd when I saw that banner at the top of their site and the first thing the popped into my head was, “Dude, that sort of looks like Osama Bin Laden.”

If people thought it was weird that Obama and Osama were close together, then this will just be frosting on their cakes. (Crazy cakes that is. Crazy-filled coffee cakes of doom.)

My wonderful husband wants to get his own camera, but I told him he could just use mine for the time being and enjoy taking some photos. So, yes, I basically told him to run off with my camera so he could take pictures for once. Hence, every image has his website on them rather than mine.

(I’m making this into two posts, simply so there aren’t as many images in just one post. There will be seven pictures per post.)

Let’s use two-headed dragons for example. If you have a male and female in your scroll already, and then you pick up a new egg, the egg will be placed underneath the respective gender if you have your scroll sorted for dragon types.

You can use this for any dragons that have a different image for the male and the female versions, such as the silver and dark green dragons.

This means that all of the eggs are already sexed at birth, but we don’t know what they are until they get to the second stage of hatchling, when they grow wings or get bigger.

Did you know that you can smash (the kill action) an egg and get a hatchling? If you didn’t, let me explain it to you.

When you read the little paragraph at the bottom of the eggs’ page, you get a little hint with the last sentence..

If a developed dragon is forced out of its egg prematurely, it will usually run away or hide immediately.

Now, you can make the mistake of smashing and actually killing the hatchling inside the egg. This happens when there are no cracks or holes in the egg. When you successfully kill the poor thing, you’ll get this:

You take the egg and smash it on the ground, killing whatever was forming inside.

If you smash the egg and fail, then you will get this response:

You take the egg and smash it on the ground, and a baby dragon scampers out. You try to catch it as it runs away, but you trip and it gets away.

If you smash it with some luck, then you’ll get this:

You take the egg and smash it on the ground, and a baby dragon scampers out. It tries to run away, but you catch it.

Now you have a hatchling with a little addition to the bottom of it’s page..

This hatchling was forced out of its egg prematurely.

Please remember to do this only when needed, like if your egg is about to hatch but there is no time left to get the views needed for it to survive. If you kill too many eggs or dragons, your scroll will be burned (deleted) and you will have to start all over again.

I have used the kill action several times to get hatchlings early. Of the three times I can remember recently, only once was I unsuccessful at catching the hatchling as it ran away. This may have something to do with the time left on the egg, seeing as how it had 4.99 days remaining. The closest time to that when I successfully caught a fleeing hatchling was 4.98, so you may not want to try to force them out of the egg before this time.

J. accidently spilled something on it earlier, but neither of us realized there was anything wrong. That is, until he asked a question about when Japan would be hosting the Olympics again. I didn’t know, so I decided I would look it up online.

When I opened my computer, it was a black screen and wouldn’t do anything. I unplugged the cord and pulled out the battery, because this is the only way to do a hard reset on the damn thing. Once plugged back up and turned on, it didn’t do anything but light up and stay lit up. (The number, scroll, and caps lock.)

I know what that means.. So, I took everything apart and cleaned up the motherboard. The only places that had anything were one of my two things of RAM and my northside bus. It was just a little icky and it cleaned pretty easily, though I did manage to loose a couple of screws somehow.

Now that it’s working fine, I’m good to go! It could have been a hell of a lot worse, so I’m happy.

(I think my uncle jinxed me by saying something today about how if my computer died I would lose all of my information..)

PS - Tokyo was the host of the 1964 Summer Olympics.

Let me put it this way.. If you seriously think that men are going to rape you on a normal basis, then you are nuts. Sure, they may have the hots for you and they may want to fuck you, but that does not mean they are going to hunt your ass down and hit that. No, men appearently are saner in reality then in this womans’ head.

Yeah, I don’t believe that, but it is hillrious. Honestly though, rape is, more or less, a male crime. I’ve heard of women raping men, but it’s a little bit harder for us to manage that one..

So…

Just let me explain a couple of things about women and the internet as a whole, because I’m sure to get some weird hits because of this post:

Women DOMINATE the internet.

Seriously, go to Google Images: Porn. Are there many shots of men? (..Besides their penises!)

Most bloggers online are women because we have nothing better to do than bitch. (I’m no better ladies! We can all admit to it..)

Tons of young girls (mostly Asian & no offense) make websites and own at doing so.

So, I don’t see much of a point in feminist women complaining online about equal rights and all that crap. The internet is the one place that you can be semi-anonymous, but women go out of their way to act girly and then wonder why in the world some spammers come after them. Brains people, do you know how to use them?

Personally, I’ve always been into stuff that guys are. When I was in school, I was often one of the only or the only girl in my classes. I never had a problem with it. I might have gotten picked on sometimes because of that, but anyone that’s different gets picked on.

I’m also very big into gaming and that’s generally a male-dominated sport, but I don’t go out of my way to say, “Hey, I’m a girl!” when I’m playing either. I don’t get picked on because I’m a chick and if I do, it’s usually because the guy has a complex because I just beat him. Seriously though, women are just as well off in men in many things, so I’m not going to go complain about it.

If women (feminist specifically) would spend more time working their asses off than bitching and complaining about how men have it easier, then maybe it would be completely equal. Instead, a lot of women protest and go on instead of actually bothering to do something about the situation.

Let’s say, if you aren’t getting paid as much as a male coworker that has the exact same qualifications as you, then QUIT. You will find something better than that job, because, obviously, that one sucked. Tell everyone you know what they did and make sure you never go there again. DON’T: Go out and tell everyone about it and keep on keepin’ on with it, because it gives them publicity. You don’t want that.
